One of the UK's Top 10 Carol Concerts, 2017 (The Guardian) Opus Anglicanum bring their most popular Christmas event to London for the first time which sells-out each year at Wells Cathedral. Thoughtful texts interweave with mediaeval carols and plainchant in the magical candlelit setting of St James' Church, Spanish Place, Marylebone, London.

Zeb joins the Wimbledon Symphony Orchestra with conductor Leo Geyer for an imaginative retelling of Dickens' A Christmas Carol for children of all ages with music from John Adams, Prokofiev, Berlioz, and some familiar Carols.
Perhaps a chance for smaller-ones to see and hear a symphony orchestra for the very first time.

Carol Service for the BBC Radio 4 Christmas Appeal with St Martin-in-the-Fields
The BBC Radio 4 Christmas Appeal with St Martin-in-the-Fields supports homeless and vulnerable people across the UK. This year, to support the Appeal, a special Carol Service will be held at St Martin’s, featuring Zeb Soanes, Felicity Finch (Ruth in The Archers) and others from BBC Radio 4.

Royal Opera House Insights: The Nutcracker
It simply wouldn’t be Christmas without Peter’s Wright’s magnificent production of The Nutcracker. In a live broadcast from the Royal Opera House, Zeb will chat to dancers of The Royal Ballet in rehearsal as they prepare for their annual trip to the Kingdom of Sweets.

St Martin in the Fields presents the most complete live performance of Sir John Betjeman's Banana Blush for over 30 years, performed by Zeb Soanes and Carole Boyd.
'Soanes and Co.' - An Evening of Words and Music
An evening of words and music for the turn of the season at the ancient Norfolk church of St Mathias, Thorpe-next-Haddiscoe. Introduced by Zeb, joined by friends from the world of music, theatre and broadcasting.
Admission by donation for church preservation. Limited seating, arrive early.
Eggs or Anarchy (world premiere) with Walton Façade
The food writer, critic and Masterchef judge William Sitwell (great-nephew of Edith Sitwell) joins Zeb Soanes to recite William Walton's witty and irreverent Façade, preceded by the world premiere of Ben Palmer's new composition, Eggs or Anarchy, based on Sitwell's account of how Lord Woolton achieved the impossible task of feeding the nation during the Second World War.

Opus Anglicanum will perform their latest commmisson at the Three Choirs Festival, a setting of Coleridge's famous The Rime of the Ancient Mariner by Lynne Plowman. It will be partnered with Sally Beamish's haunting Sea Psalm.

Opus Anglicanum - Belloc: The Four Men
Opus Anglicanum present a retelling of Hilaire Belloc's The Four Men, in which 'Grizzlebeard', 'the Poet', 'the Sailor' and 'Myself', walk across the Weald of Sussex in the October of 1902 from Robertsbridge to Harting, with lively conversation and songs along the way, including music from Vaughan Williams, Ivor Gurney and Edward Elgar.

A new recording of Façade, Edith Sitwell's eccentric poems set to music by William Walton, recited by Carole Boyd and Zeb Soanes and conducted by John Wilson.
OPUS ANGLICANUM: THE ANNUNCIATION
A celebration of the Annunciation in the music ofByrd, Obrecht, Greek Orthodox Chant, Gregorian Chant, J S Bach and Tallis. The readings are from Angelus Silesius, Denise Levertov, Elizabeth Jennings, Edwin Muir, and Mother Julian of Norwich, and a description of the 14th century Annunciation ceremony in Padua Cathedral. Performed as part of Early Music Wells.
Portraits in Character auction at St. Martin-in-the-Fields
Dame Judi Dench by Alexander Newley
A close collaboration between Alexander Newley, Fiery Angel, St Martin-in-the-Fields and iconic director and actor Sir Kenneth Branagh led to a unique series of portraits of players in the autumn 2016 season of the Kenneth Branagh Theatre Company at The Garrick Theatre. Alexander Newley worked on the portraits for a year, and was granted unprecedented access backstage at The Garrick Theatre in order to capture the energy and dynamism of the actors in character.
The pictures will be auctioned by Sir Jeffrey Archer at a gala dinner in the Crypt at St. Martins.
