My Beloved Man: The Letters of Britten and Pears

This concert tells the story of the 39-year love affair between Benjamin Britten and Peter Pears, told entirely through their letters to each other. The Fourth Choir, based in London but made up of queer singers from many countries around the world, illustrates their story with music by Britten and his contemporaries, as well as composers from former centuries whose music Britten loved.
