A New Gaspard for World Book Day 2021

Gaspard's Foxtrot Publicity Still.jpg
The wonderful thing about Gaspard the Fox is that it’s hard to imagine a time when he was never there. He has the look and sound - in the words and pictures on the page and the music of the orchestra - of a classic. Three cheers for Gaspard!
— Philip Ardagh, Roald Dahl Funny Prize winning author
Another wonderful tale of the exciting adventures of Gaspard, our urban fox friend, beautifully told and illustrated. A real treat.
— Dame Patricia Routledge

London’s handsomest fox returns in a joyous new adventure, Gaspard’s Foxtrot, which will be published on World Book Day 2021 to coincide with the premiere of Jonathan Dove’s orchestral adaptation of the story, performed by the Royal Scottish National Orchestra in a special filmed concert to be shared with schools across Scotland.

Audiences in the rest of the UK will be able to see it performed by The Philharmonia, Docklands Sinfonia and Royal Liverpool Philharmonic orchestras as concert halls reopen. Check the events page on this website for the latest performance information.
