In June 2015, Paul Donovan, the Sunday Times’ radio critic asked his readers to vote for their favourite radio voices. 46 men and 30 women were nominated; the favourite female voice was named as Jane Garvey and the favourite male, Zeb Soanes. The runners-up included Eddie Mair and Kirsty Young.
